The Tumoba SP3 are harvesters designed to enable larger sprout growers to achieve high production and minimise labour requirements, while protecting the condition of the soil even in the most adverse conditions.
The operators sit at the front of the machine, one for each row to be harvested. In front of each row is a foot-operated arm with a stem cutter attached. As the machine passes through the crop, the stalks are cut and fed by hand into the cutting heads next to each operator. The buds and leaves are stripped and separated from the stem, the leaves return to the ground and the cut buds are fed through an elevator into a bulk hopper in the centre of the machine. Each model is built on a tracked chassis and powered by a diesel engine mounted at the rear of the machine and hydraulically driven.

Die Tumoba SP3 sind Erntemaschinen, die es größeren Sprossenanbauern ermöglichen, eine hohe Produktion zu erzielen und den Arbeitsaufwand zu minimieren, während gleichzeitig der Zustand des Bodens auch unter den widrigsten Bedingungen geschützt wird.
Die Bediener sitzen an der Vorderseite der Maschine, einer für jede zu erntende Reihe. Vor jeder Reihe befindet sich ein fußbetätigter Arm, an dem ein Stängelschneider angebracht ist. Während die Maschine durch das Erntegut fährt, werden die Stängel abgeschnitten und von Hand in die Schneidköpfe neben jedem Bediener geführt. Die Knospen und Blätter werden abgestreift und vom Stängel getrennt, die Blätter kehren auf den Boden zurück und die abgeschnittenen Knospen werden über einen Elevator in einen Schüttgutbehälter in der Mitte der Maschine befördert. Jedes Modell ist auf einem Raupenfahrwerk aufgebaut und wird von einem Dieselmotor angetrieben, der am Heck der Maschine montiert ist und hydraulisch angetrieben wird.

De Tumoba SP3 zijn rooiers die zijn ontworpen om de grotere spruitentelers in staat te stellen een hoge productie te halen en zo min mogelijk arbeid te vragen, terwijl de conditie van de grond wordt beschermd, zelfs onder de meest ongunstige omstandigheden.
De bestuurders zitten vooraan de machine, één voor elke te oogsten rij. Voor elke rij is een voetbediende arm met daaraan een stengelknipper bevestigd. Terwijl de machine door het gewas loopt, worden de stengels afgesneden en met de hand in de snijkoppen naast elke operator gevoerd. De knoppen en bladeren worden van de stengel gestript en gescheiden, de bladeren gaan terug naar de grond en de afgesneden knoppen worden door een elevator in een bulkhopper in het midden van de machine gevoerd. Elk model is gebouwd op een chassis met rupsbanden en wordt aangedreven door een dieselmotor die aan de achterkant van de machine is gemonteerd en hydraulisch wordt aangedreven.
